Newport Wetlands National Nature Reserve lies between the Severn Estuary and the River Usk on the South Wales coast. It is owned and managed by Natural Resources Wales, working in partnership with RSPB Cymru, Newport City Council and others, for the benefit of wildlife and people.
Visitor centre is open daily from 9am - 5pm (closed Christmas Day). Christmas opening times are as follows:
Christmas Eve - 10am - 3pm
Christmas Day - Closed
Boxing Day - 10am - 4pm
New Years Eve - 10am - 4pm
New Years Day - 10am - 4pm
Car park open daily, 9am - 5pm.

Toilets:
Unisex accessible toilet along with separate ladies and gents available on ground floor of Visitor Centre. Level, step-free access. Baby-changing tables in accessible and ladies' toilets.

Three mobility scooters and two wheelchairs available to hire out free of charge. Booking recommended - call 01633 636363 for details.
